I brought Steve and Moe to the McCormick location today. Although I have known them for years as a homeless man with a homeless dog, I am happy to say they are off the streets and on their way to a better life. And, more importantly, Steve wants this for himself and Moe. So much so that he has been sober since he received a roof over his head. The bond between them is unreal; I don't think one will survive without the other. And both of them have become part of our extended family.
Although the news of heartworms was devastating to Steve (and me) today, I know that with the diagnosis we can move forward and begin treatment (hopefully on Monday!!).
Of course money is tight everywhere; evidenced by the line today, but we will find a way to get Moe healthy.

Deworming
